Botvin LifeSkills Training® (LST) is an evidence-based prevention program designed to help students develop the personal, social, and decision-making skills needed to navigate everyday challenges and reduce risky behaviors. The program equips young people with the confidence and practical tools to make healthy choices, resist peer pressure, and build positive relationships that support lifelong success.

Maumee Valley Guidance Center partners with local schools to provide LifeSkills Training to students in upper elementary, middle, and high school settings. The curriculum is engaging, interactive, and designed to promote healthy development while preventing substance use, violence, bullying, and other high-risk behaviors.

What Students Learn

LifeSkills Training focuses on building the skills students need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Topics include:
